Inside the Puppy Pen: Day 16

Today we noticed a big milestone—the puppies’ ears are opening! We could actually see them start to react to sounds for the first time. That means it’s time to begin our sound protocols, gently introducing them to a variety of noises so they can grow up confident and well-adjusted.

They’re also moving around more steadily now, so we’ll start letting them explore different textures under their feet to help build coordination and comfort with new experiences.

Of course, the cuddles and snuggles continue—we’re in the pen throughout the day, holding, petting, and loving on them. It’s such a sweet stage where their little personalities are just beginning to peek through.
