Our Sire and Dams

At SDG Goldens, we are committed to selecting only the best English Cream Golden Retrievers for our breeding program. Our dogs are direct imports from Europe, chosen from champion bloodlines to ensure exceptional temperament, conformation, and intelligence.
All of our sires and dams are registered with their respective countries' registries as well as the AKC. Puppies are AKC-registered pets, unless full registration has been agreed upon. We take health seriously—each of our breeding dogs undergoes extensive health and genetic testing, and we proudly offer health guarantees on all of our puppies.
More than just breeding dogs, our sires and dams are beloved family members. They sleep in our children’s beds, spend their days alongside us, and bring endless joy to our home. Their loving personalities, outstanding conformation, and high intelligence make them truly exceptional, and we are honored to share their legacy through our puppies.
Reba
Reba is full of personality and never shy about letting us know how she feels. She’s our little communicator—whether it’s a soft grumble, a playful huff, or a look that says “you forgot my treat,” she always finds a way to make her thoughts known. She’s expressive, opinionated in the sweetest way, and makes us laugh daily with her quirky little habits.
She’s also incredibly smart and loves to explore. Her nose is always working—whether she’s tracking a scent around the farm or investigating a new trail, she’s focused and curious, but never in a rush. Reba has a natural hunting instinct, but she balances it with a relaxed, easygoing nature.
At the end of the day, she’s all about comfort. She somehow always ends up in the coziest spot in the house—often Nathanael’s room—where she can curl up and unwind. She loves her people and wants to be close, usually chiming in with her own brand of gentle commentary if she thinks she’s being left out.
Reba came to us from Bulgaria and carries a beautiful European pedigree full of champion English Cream lines. But more than that, she’s just Reba—bright, affectionate, full of heart, and a little bit sassy in all the best ways. We absolutely adore her.

Dolly
Dolly is our quiet soul. She’s the kind of dog who doesn’t ask for much—just a cozy spot on the couch and a gentle hand to rest under. She’s incredibly affectionate, but in the softest, most calming way. If you’re sitting down, she’ll find her way to your side and stay there as long as you’ll let her.
She has this mellow, easygoing energy that makes her such a comforting presence in the house. Nothing rattles her. She just floats through the day with a peaceful rhythm, always close by but never demanding. That said, she still has a playful side—she loves a game of chase or a romp with her dog friends, but it’s always lighthearted and gentle, just like her.
Dolly came to us all the way from Serbia, and she carries that European elegance in everything she does. Her pedigree is full of outstanding, beautiful dogs, and she’s no exception. She's a true example of what we love in this breed—sweet, steady, and so full of love.
She might not be the first one to demand attention, but she’s the one who quietly steals your heart when you’re not looking. Dolly is pure comfort in a dog-shaped package.

Patsy
Patsy is our lovebug that was imported from Serbia. She’s one of the sweetest dogs I’ve ever had, and definitely the most jealous for attention—in the best way. If there’s a hand available, she’s under it, and if you’re sitting down, she’s somehow managed to drape herself across you like a weighted blanket with fur. She just loves being close to her people.
She has this long, thick, beautiful show coat that makes her look so regal, but really, she’s just our big snuggle buddy. Patsy lives for connection. She’s the type to quietly follow you around the house, lay her head in your lap, and gaze up at you like you’re her whole world.
She’s silly, too. She’ll gently nudge her way between you and whatever you’re doing if she thinks she’s missing out on affection. It's like she believes she should be the center of attention at all times—and honestly, we’re not mad about it.
Patsy is everything we love about English Cream Goldens: loyal, affectionate, and completely devoted. She has such a good heart, and she brings so much warmth to our home just by being her sweet, clingy self.

Willie
​
Willie is our gentle giant. He’s one of those dogs that just has a quiet, calming presence—he walks into a room and somehow everything feels a little more peaceful. He’s got that classic English Cream look that turns heads, but it’s his soft, laid-back nature that really wins people over.
Most of the time, you’ll find Willie stretched out somewhere comfortable, completely content just being near us. He’s not in a rush to do anything—he likes to take life slow and easy. But when it’s time to play, he’s all in, especially if there’s a favorite toy or a friend to romp with. He’s playful in that gentle, thoughtful way that’s so typical of the breed.
What I love most about Willie is how affectionate he is. He’ll quietly come rest his head on your knee or lean into your side like he’s saying, “Hey, I’m here.” He doesn’t demand attention, but he soaks it up when it’s offered—and you can tell he’s happiest when he’s close.
He was imported from incredible champion lines in Serbia, and you can see it in the way he carries himself—there’s a kind of effortless grace about him. But at the end of the day, he’s just our sweet, easygoing boy who loves naps, belly rubs, and being with his people. Willie is the definition of heart and soul in a Golden.
