Inside the Puppy Pen: Day 13 – Eyes Beginning to Open

The puppies are getting bigger and stronger each day. Their eyes are just starting to open, letting in small glimpses of light and shapes for the first time. It’s a slow process, but each little blink feels like a milestone.

The kids have begun helping with holding and gentle socialization. At this stage, it’s simply about soft voices, steady hands, and letting the puppies get used to the feel and scent of people. These quiet, early moments are laying the foundation for the bonds they’ll form later on.

Right now, life for them is still mostly about sleeping, eating, and growing—but the world is starting to open up just a little more each day.
