Last night, I flew Goose to Fort Myers, Florida, to meet his new family — and I couldn’t be happier with how everything went. I’ll be honest, I wasn’t sure I was even going to make that flight with him being 23 pounds and such a big boy for a carry-on, but somehow everything worked out. They let us on, and Goose was an absolute angel the entire time. He didn’t make a peep — just curled up in his carrier and slept peacefully the whole flight. I’m so thankful it all worked out,

Today was a bittersweet day. Mint and Saffron had their final visit to the nursing home before heading off to their forever homes this week. We’re going to miss these visits until the next litter of puppies is old enough to go, but what a joyful morning it was!
