This morning Annie was in the pen, laying down with the puppies as they crawled all over her. Honestly, it’s an everyday occurrence around here—each of my kids takes every chance they get to be in with the puppies.
The puppies absolutely love it. They wiggle over for pets, nibble gently, and climb across laps like a little jungle gym. These interactions are more than just fun—they’re important. Early socialization with children helps puppies build confidence, learn gentle play, and associate people with comfort and safety.
It’s one of my favorite things to watch—kids and puppies together, growing bonds that set the foundation for loving, well-adjusted family dogs.
