Playful Pups in Action

The puppies have officially entered their “party phase,” and it’s pure joy to watch. Today’s video captures the puppies in their early play stage—full of tail wags, gentle wrestling matches, curious nibbles, and those first little growls as they practice their social skills. Their coordination has improved so much in just the last week—it’s amazing how quickly they grow at this stage.

Learning Through Play

Playtime is more than just cute; it’s critical for their development. When the puppies wrestle or tug on each other, they’re learning important social skills like bite inhibition, problem-solving, and communication. These early lessons will help them grow into well-adjusted adults who know how to play nicely with other dogs and interact confidently with people.

Fun Fact: The “Zoomie Zone”

Around four weeks, puppies start practicing short bursts of running—what we lovingly call “zoomies.” By six weeks, they can break into full-on sprints around the pen, showing off their growing muscle strength and coordination. It’s a great sign their nervous and muscular systems are developing just the way they should.
