Inside the Puppy Pen – Day 23 (Herb Litter)

Today we introduced little puppy beds into their sleeping area and placed potty pads just outside of that space. Puppies naturally wake up, toddle just a step or two out of bed, and go potty right away—so we set their potty area right beside the bed zone to build good habits early.

As they grow, we’ll gradually move the potty area further away and eventually introduce a potty tray with alfalfa pellets. This is the very first step in their potty training journey, laying the groundwork for a smooth transition when they go home to their forever families. 🏡💛

✨ Fun Fact/Tip: Puppies develop an instinct to keep their sleeping area clean as early as three weeks old. By supporting this instinct now, we make house training much easier for their future families!
