Puppy watch is officially on! 🐾

Patsy is due Saturday, but she’s showing signs that labor might begin soon—she’s been nauseous and isn’t interested in eating, even when we offered her a special meal of ground beef, egg, rice, green beans, and yogurt.

We mixed things up this round! Usually, we whelp our puppies in the living room, but this time we moved our bedroom downstairs, just off the living room, and set up the whelping pen in our office space inside our bedroom. This setup lets us stay close to Patsy day and night while still being comfortable in our own bed. We’ll keep the pen in our room for the first 2–3 weeks, then move it back into the living room once the puppies are a bit older.
