Inside the Puppy Pen – Day 40: Meet the Puppies

Today I wanted to slow down and let you “meet” each puppy a little more closely. As I held them up one by one, what stood out most is just how calm and gentle this whole group is. They all have those nice, square heads and such sweet temperaments.

One thing I’m especially proud of is how well they’re already practicing manding—that polite little automatic sit they do when asking for attention. It’s such a simple foundation, but it teaches patience, manners, and self-control right from the start.

This is truly a big, sweet group of puppies, and we’re getting closer to Pick Day on Tuesday! It’s always exciting to see which puppies are going to go with which family.

🐾 Fun Fact: Puppies who learn early manners like manding often transition more smoothly into training later on. It helps them understand that calm behavior is what gets rewarded, setting them up for success as companions, service prospects, or therapy dogs.
