Goose’s Trip to Lowe’s

Today Goose had a big day out! At just under 10 weeks old, he’s right in the middle of his critical socialization window—the time when puppies learn the world is a safe and exciting place. We took him to Lowe’s for a short, positive outing where he experienced sliding doors, new floor textures, rolling carts, new smells in the garden center, and even some moving Christmas and Halloween displays!


Experiences like this build confidence, resilience, and trust. By calmly introducing new sights and sounds while keeping it positive, Goose learns to navigate the world with curiosity instead of fear. Socialization isn’t about overwhelming a puppy—it’s about creating opportunities for success through gentle exposure, one adventure at a time.
